Weight Loss Program

Are you frustrated with the constant cycle of yo-yo dieting and the challenge of maintaining a healthy weight? Our GLP-1 program, featuring proven medications like semaglutide and tirzepatide, could be the solution you've been looking for. These medications have demonstrated their effectiveness in helping people not only lose weight but also keep it off in the long run

Semaglutide Weight Loss

Semaglutide works by mimicking a hormone called glucagon-like peptide-1 (GLP-1) that targets areas of the brain that regulate appetite and food intake.

GLP-1 agonists like Semaglutide help to control your blood sugar, but people taking them also tend to lose weight. GLP-1, the key hormone involved, slows down how fast your stomach empties food. And in addition to causing your pancreas to release insulin, Semaglutide also blocks a hormone that causes your liver to release sugar (glucagon). Together, these functions can help you feel less hungry, causing you to eat less food and lose more weight.

Benefits of Semaglutide Include:

  • Promotes major Lipolysis

  • Lowers BMI and accelerates fat loss

  • Reduces Inflammation promotes gut health

  • Lowers A1C

  • Improves insulin resistance

  • Plaque Hemorrhage is reduced

  • Helps pancreatic insulin release to lower glucose levels in the bloodstream

  • Cardiovascular benefits - lower risks of cardio events

  • Improve glycemic control

  • Major Weight loss

  • Help control food cravings / reduce appetite

  • Lower BP

  • With Semaglutide, you will slowly work your way up to the target dose at which time you will see the most amount of weight loss. It is important to keep in mind that weight loss can take time, and you’ll see the best results when you are using your medication in combination with a healthy diet and exercise. Sometimes the medication may not work for you, or you may not be able to tolerate the full dose due to side effects.

  • Nausea is the most common side effect associated with Semaglutide, with as many as 20% of people taking this medication for Type 2 diabetes reported experiencing nausea as a result. Nausea is even more common when you reach the higher dose typically used for weight loss. Vomiting may also occur, though it's less common. Many patients report that this side effect lessens over time. Small, low-fat meals will help reduce this side effect while supporting your weight loss journey.

Diarrhea is another common side effect of Semaglutide. Around 20% of patients using the medication for weight loss reported diarrhea. Although constipation may also occur, it's less common. While digestive problems and mild stomach pain are fairly frequent with this drug, you should not experience severe stomach pain or pain that radiates to your back. If this occurs, you should get immediate medical attention since this can be a sign of a more severe complication.

Fatigue affects about 11% of people using Wegovy for weight loss. Fatigue is less common among patients using Semaglutide for diabetes. It was reported in just 5% of people taking Ozempic and not at all by any patients using Rybelsus.

You should not take this medication if you are a type 1 Diabetic, are pregnant or planning to get pregnant, if you or any family members have been diagnosed with multiple endocrine neoplasia syndrome or medullary thyroid cancer.

Administration of Semaglutide is a once weekly subcutaneous (SUBQ) injection that you will administer yourself at home.

Tirzepatide Weight Loss

Tirzepatide is a peptide that works by activating certain receptors in the body that play a role in regulating appetite and metabolism. In clinical trials, tirzepatide has been shown to produce significant weight loss in individuals with obesity, as well as improvements in other markers of health such as blood sugar control and cardiovascular risk factors.

Tirzepatide is unique because it is the first medication that combines two classes of medication: a glucagon-like peptide-1 (GLP-1) receptor agonist and a glucose-dependent insulinotropic polypeptide (GIP) receptor agonist. This makes tirzepatide a dual GLP-1/GIP receptor agonist. Together, these functions can help reduce hunger, causing you to eat less food and lose more weight.

Benefits of Tirzepatide Include:

  • Releases insulin when blood sugar is elevated

  • Removes excess sugar from the blood

  • Prevents the liver from producing and releasing excessive amounts of sugar

  • Reduces food intake

  • Slows down digestion

  • Achieves significant weight loss

  • Lowers BMI and accelerates fat loss

  • Reduces inflammation and promotes gut health

  • Lowers A1C levels

  • Provides cardiovascular benefits by lowering the risk of cardiovascular events

  • Controls food cravings and reduces appetite

  • With Tirzepatide, you will slowly work your way up to the target dose at which time you will see the most amount of weight loss. It is important to keep in mind that weight loss can take time, and you’ll see the best results when you are using your medication in combination with a healthy diet and exercise. Sometimes the medication may not work for you, or you may not be able to tolerate the full dose due to side effects.

  • Type 2 diabetes is a condition in which the body does not produce enough insulin to manage blood glucose levels or does not use insulin efficiently. As a result, there's a high amount of glucose in the blood that requires management.

Tirzepatide binds to a receptor of two hormones generated in the gut termed glucose-dependent insulinotropic polypeptide (GIP) and glucagon-like peptide-1 (GLP-1). It works in the same manner as GIP and GLP-1 by increasing the amount of insulin the pancreas releases in response to meals, encouraging healthy blood glucose regulation.

  • As a dual glucose-dependent insulinotropic polypeptide GIP and GLP-1 agonist, tirzepatide has been shown in clinical studies to aid in weight reduction. Tirzepatide produces its weight loss results through the following mechanisms of action:

    1. Appetite Suppression

Tirzepatide affects the brain's appetite-regulating centers, resulting in less hunger and a longer sense of fullness. This can lead to a reduction in food intake.

    1. Slowed Gastric Emptying

Tirzepatide delays stomach emptying, which might cause food to take longer to travel through the digestive system. This delay in stomach emptying can also promote satiety and aid in food intake management.

    1. Improved Insulin Sensitivity

Tirzepatide enhances insulin sensitivity, which means that the cells in the body are more sensitive to the actions of insulin. Increased insulin sensitivity can improve glucose absorption by cells while decreasing glucose synthesis by the liver. This kind of healthy blood sugar regulation is important for weight loss.

    1. Increased Energy Expenditure

Tirzepatide has been linked to an increase in increased physical activity. Weight loss is inevitable if the body burns more calories than the caloric intake.

    1. Lipolysis

Tirzepatide has been proven to increase fat cell breakdown, also known as lipolysis. Releasing stored fat to produce energy is fundamental for weight loss.

It's crucial to note that the weight reduction benefits of tirzepatide vary from person to person, and researchers have mostly examined it in type 2 diabetes patients specifically. Individuals may have different processes and proportional contributions to weight reduction.
